C&L's quality engineered hydraulic pipe bending machines provide a quick and efficient means of cold bending coated or noncoated pipe. These Machines are manufactured in a range of models from the light weight BM 6-20, to the rugged BM 36-48. C&L's bending machines, when used in conjunction with C&L's bending mandrels and C&L's bending die sets, will assure smooth and safe pipe bends within pipe yield tolerances. Also available is a wide variety of optional features and auxiliary equipment to fulfill any specialized bending machine requirements.

Structure

Cylinder
  • All cylinders are easily maintained and can be repaired as opposed to a closed unit which is costly to repair or replace.

Pump
  • Uses a VQ series hydraulic Vickers vane pump for bending system function.

Rubber Tires
  • Fully mobile on oversized rubber tires for added clearance.

  • C&L Models BM0420 will bend from 4" up to 20" (508mm), heavy wall, high yield pipe.
  • This bending machine is designed to bend each pipe size to a plus/minus 40 x pipe diameter = bend radius.

Bending Sets
  • Can be conformed and labeled to Metric System if required.

Bending Mandrels
  • Can be conformed and labeled to Metric System if required.

Air Compressor (HD Model Only)
  • Uses a QR325 Quincy Compressor for pneumatic bending mandrel function.
  • C/W 30 Gallon air receiver

Wedge Bending Mandrel




During bending operations C&L pneumatic pipe bending mandrel allows smooth bends to be made while preventing pipe buckling and out-of-roundness. The C&L mandrel is designed for one man operation to assure a fast and efficient bending process.

Designed and built for the dependable service the C&L mandrel features polyurethane coated backing bars, pads and wheels for protection of internally coated pipe. Shims are available for accurately adjusting the mandrel to different wall thickness. Conversion kits are available for converting a mandrel to alternate pipe sizes as listed for each mandrel model.

A full range of Quality assurance and durability tests are conducted on each bending mandrel prior to shipment. Service and maintenance manuals are provided with each unit and spare parts kits are available. Factory trained technicians are avilable for jobsite assistance anytime, anywhere.
